ShowLore Copyright & DMCA Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
ShowLore is a collaborative live-concert archive operated by ShowLore LLC. We respect copyright and other intellectual-property rights. This page explains how to submit a copyright complaint concerning material or links on ShowLore and how users may submit a counter-notification when material they contributed has been removed or disabled.
1. Before sending a copyright notice
Please consider whether the use you are reporting is authorized by the copyright owner, a license, or applicable law, including any applicable exception or limitation. A copyright notice is a legal communication. Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may result in liability under applicable law.
2. How to submit a DMCA notice
A written notice of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to ShowLore's designated copyright agent and should include substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works at one online site are covered.
- Identification of the material, reference, or link claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for ShowLore to locate it, such as the specific ShowLore URL and the relevant image, upload, embed, or link.
- Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Sending complete information helps us identify the material and respond efficiently. If a notice is incomplete but identifies the work, the complained-of material, and the complaining party sufficiently, we may contact the sender for additional information.

4. What happens after a notice
ShowLore will review copyright notices in good faith and may remove or disable access to material, uploads, references, or links when appropriate. We may preserve a copy of the notice and relevant records for legal, security, moderation, or audit purposes. Where applicable, we will take reasonable steps to notify the user who contributed the affected material that access has been removed or disabled.
If a complaint concerns content hosted by a third party, such as YouTube or Vimeo, ShowLore may remove or disable the ShowLore link or embed. The underlying media remains controlled by the third-party hosting service, and a rights holder may also need to use that provider's process.
5. Counter-notifications
If material you contributed was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification to the ShowLore Copyright Agent. A counter-notification should include substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable Federal District Court as provided by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.
Where the statutory counter-notice process applies, ShowLore may provide a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party. That means information contained in your counter-notification, including contact information, may be shared with that party. Where the statutory process applies, after receiving a valid counter-notification we may restore the affected material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days later, unless our designated agent first receives notice that the complaining party has filed an action seeking a court order concerning the material.
6. Repeat infringers
ShowLore maintains a policy providing for restriction or termination, in appropriate circumstances, of accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. ShowLore may consider the circumstances of notices, counter-notices, retractions, account history, and other relevant information when applying this policy. A complaint by itself does not necessarily establish infringement.
7. Other intellectual-property concerns
This process is intended for copyright complaints. For trademark, privacy, impersonation, or other legal concerns, contact legal@myshowlore.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ShowLore evolves or as legal requirements change. We will keep the designated-agent information on this page current.
